Industry’s first integral solution for Manufacturing Process Management (MPM)
- With Windchill 9.0, PTC introduces Windchill MPMLink, an optional module that improves efficiency and time-to-market by enabling design and manufacturing engineers to concurrently define the product design and its manufacturing processes.
Enhanced product development process support
- Change & Configuration Management – Out-of-the-box tasks make it easier to create, group and manage change requests while new configuration management capabilities include the ability to create and validate customer-specific product variations.
- Detailed Design – Design efficiency has been enhanced with many new CAD data management capabilities.
- Variant Design and Generation – Windchill 9.0 provides the capability for users to quickly create and validate customer-specific product variations based on a defined set of available options.
- Design Outsourcing – Windchill 9.0 also has smarter replication capabilities to improve system performance and availability for remote users and external partners.
